Principal's Message
Victress Bower School for severely handicapped students provides an array of special educational programs to support our student body with varied medical and educational needs. These challenges in their lives and their families lives has driven the passion over the past 48 years and that passion is present daily in the staff here at Bower.
The school is dedicated to providing opportunities to all of its students to develop to their fullest potential. The school accepts and respects each student as a unique and valuable individual. The school recognizes that each student has the right to an educational program appropriate to his or her own needs and abilities. The program focuses on the development of those critical, functional life skills necessary for each student to become more independent and to more fully participate in life experiences. Through accommodation and adaptation, students are taught to utilize and to expand their overall abilities. Victress Bower School embraces the challenge to teach its students how to live, work, and enjoy recreation/ leisure activities at home and in the community.
